CareInAction has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. We will always use any information collected in accordance with this privacy policy.

At CareInAction your confidentiality is completely protected:

• We will never use, share, rent, sell or disclose any information supplied by you to a third party or entity.
• Your entries will be stored in our databases automatically and no one will be able to read your information without your explicit authorization.
• When you delete your records or any part of it, the information will immediately and permanently be removed from all our databases. You can choose to remove your records at any time.
• For service reliability and quality, you data may be kept on our secure server so that should a system failure occur we can recover your information. This is standard industry practice. Your data, however, will never be stored outside of our servers.
  

Purchases:

• When you order any guidebook or product from our Catalog or Bookstore we need to know your name, address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order.
• We do not store information about your credit card, but rather process it in real time. Should you choose to purchase a guidebook at a later time you will have to renew your account information.
• All operations carried out by you are encrypted via SSL. Therefore, no one will be able to read the contents of your transmission.
  

Registration:

• When you register online in order to access your personalized ‘Toolkit’ and participation in the Conversation Space we need your ????………..
• When you register, you obtain ownership of all your data while accessing CareInAction with your login ID. You are responsible for maintaining your login ID and password confidential.
• This site makes a Conversation Space or Forum available to its users. Please remember that the information you disclose in this area becomes public information. Although we encourage open dialogue with other participants to enrich your respective learning experiences we want to remind you that you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.
  

Newsletter:

• If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter we need your name and e-mail address.
• If at any time you would like us to remove you from our mailing list, feel free to contact us via email.
  

Children's privacy:

• In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we will never knowingly accept personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that one of our customers is under the age of 13, we will remove the identifiable information from our database.
