Family Caregiving 101

The NAC and the NFCA (see above) have joined to create this Family Caregiving 101 site to recognize, support and advise family caregivers. In it they answer frequently asked questions, discuss the stages of caregiving, give tips on how to manage, and reassure you that you are not alone.

National Alliance for Caregiving

The NAC is a non-profit coalition of national organizations focusing on issues of family caregiving. It conducts research, does policy analysis, develops national programs and increases public awareness of family caregiving issues. On the site you will find news about the alliance, publications, caregiving tips and guides, information about events and legislation on the international scene.

National Family Caregivers Association

The association supports, empowers, educates and advocates for caregivers. On their website you will find statistics, the common bonds family caregivers share, educational and support information, advocacy information, and news about the association and its multiple endeavors.

National Organization for Empowering Caregivers

Not-for-profit organization. Provides assistance, education, support, referrals and respite volunteers. Promotes public awareness about the realities of caregiving.
